The Phi Lambda Chi 2009 National Convention is scheduled for July 24 through July 26 at the Best Western Chateau Suite in Shreveport, Louisiana.  We are pleased to be hosted by Pi Colony (Louisiana State University, Shreveport), who has completed their chapter requirements and will be chartered at Convention.

Friday, July 24 is scheduled as a travel day.  Those driving in on I-20 should take exit #19A/SPRING ST/MARKET ST onto SPRING ST(US-71 N) for 0.97 miles and turn LEFT on LAKE ST.  If flying, shuttle service is available at the Shreveport Regional Airport on a fee basis.  Contact the Best Western to arrange pickup upon arriving at the airport.

Chapter delegations should be prepared to submit their Annual Chapter Evaluation, Chapter Excellence nominations, outstanding membership reports, and be prepared to pay their chapter accounts in full at registration on Friday evening.  To access evaluations and nomination criteria visit Chapter Tools/Forms at www.philambdachi.com.  Designated Chapter Presidents and Treasurers from current Helm Reports will receive invoices regarding chapter accounts.

Don't forget that each undergraduate chapter is required to send two delegates, but are encouraged to bring as many men as wish to be leaders in the fraternity.  Alumni chapters are allowed a single delegate to vote in the business meeting, but all are encouraged to come and participate in a weekend of fellowship.
